45 Days Left – Manny Pacquiao badly need to get serious this time

Bradley vs Pacquiao 2 - Manny Pacquiao remember that he was leading every round during their first match against Timothy Bradley. Pacquiao thought he won the fight easily because he controlled the fight very well.

Timothy Bradley felt Pacquiao’s power punches during the early rounds, and then during 3rd or 4th rounds Bradley run-off.

He was very surprised over the results, but that is just a part of the game – there’s a winner and a loser.

Pacquiao was impressed over Bradley’s last performances especially beating Juan Manuel Marquez and Ruslan Provodnikov. Bradley is more experience in his division (welterweight division). He is also a stronger fighter than before, even if Pacquiao is still faster than him.

The only way for Bradley to win this fight is to knockout Pacquiao. We know that Bradley cannot outbox Manny but 1 punch can change the situation. Even if Pacquiao throws a lot of punches than Bradley, only one solid punch can knockout Pacquiao just like what happened during the Pacquiao vs Marquez 4 rematch.

Manny Pacqiuao badly want to get the belt he lost to Timothy Bradley.

Manny Pacquiao is very excited about the rematch, especially fighting in Las Vegas because Las Vegas attracts great boxing fans and Manny Pacquiao has lots of memories there.

46 Days Left – Manny Pacquiao may retire after rematch against Bradley

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - We all know that our stamina change as we grow older, this is normal for everyone and all things must come to an end.  Sad to say for Manny Pacquiao and all his supporters, his boxing career maybe in dilemma on April 12, 2014.

No doubt about it, the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is an 8th time WBO world champion rated at flyweight, super bantamweight, featherweight, super featherweight, lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight, light middleweight.  Even if it was a controversial decision, Manny Pacquiao already lost to Timothy Bradley last June 2012.

As I was searching in the internet for some reactions, almost everyone believes that Manny Pacquiao will win the fight, except for the legendary boxing commentator/writer Larry Merchant. Although he still fan of Pacman, but he believes that Timothy Bradley could easily win the fight.

Larry Merchant said that Timothy Bradley is a younger fighter, smarter, stronger and more determined than Pacquiao. Bradley is an undefeated fighter which proves to everyone that wherever he goes, he will be successful. Even though Timothy Bradley does not have a natural talent compared to Pacquiao, but he works his ass off to become unbeaten fighter.

If Manny Pacquiao loses to Timothy Bradley on April 12, 2014, Pacman will consider it as a first step to his retirement because nobody wants to see his fight again.

47 Days Left - Manny Pacquiao's Training Camp Infested with Snakes

Bradley vs Pacquiao 2 - Manny Pacquiao already started his training camp since last week under the supervision of his Filipino coach Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri. Manny Pacquiao’s preparation was disrupted after several members of his training camp have discovered deadly and poisonous snakes inside the facility where Manny Pacquiao was training.

The Acharon Sports Complex where Manny Pacquiao is currently on training was infested with deadly snakes; in fact they found out that one dog was killed after it was bitten by one of the snakes lurking in the complex.

Manny Pacquiao’s camp found the situation disturbing especially the safety of its staffs, sparring mates like Steve Forbes, Kendall Holt, Lydell Rhodes and maybe Miguel Cotto and especially Manny Pacquiao.

But Pacman’s camp already suggested to immediately cleaning the area as soon as possible to prevent any further issues to the local government.

Manny Pacquiao’s under the supervision of his Filipino coach Buboy Fernandez engaged in a seven rounds with the gloves and continue working on his stamina before they hit the real training under his American coach Freddie Roach at Wild Card Gym, in Los Angeles.

48 Days Left - Manny Pacquiao Speeds up Training

Pacquiao vs Bradely 2 - The Hall of Famer coach Freedie Roach meets the Filipino Boxer Manny Pacquiao last February 24, 2014 in General Santos as they started their training for his upcoming match against Timothy Bradley at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on April 12, 2012.

Freedie Roach has arrived in Manila last February 23, 2014 night from Macau and went to General Santos early morning and starts 13 rounds of focus mitts.

After hitting 13 rounds of focus mitts, Pacquiao immediately kick of the sparring session against the unbeaten US puncher Lydell Rhodes.

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has actually been on training for the past two weeks under his Filipino coach Buboy Fernandez and Nonoy Neri before Roach and Pacquiao head to the Wild Card Gym in Holywood.

Coach Freedie Roach said in an interview that they are planning for a four weeks training in the Philippines and 3 weeks training in Los Angeles, Wild Card Gym although Promoter Bob Arum wants them to begin the training in Los Angeles as early as the 2nd week of March for the showing of the first episode of their HBO 24-7 series.

49 Days Left - Pacquiao and Bradley Looking for a Knockout Win

Timothy Bradley declared as the winner during their first fight and Manny Pacquiao felt disappointed about the split decision result in favor for Bradley. So after the controversial match last June 2012, Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley agree to have a rematch on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and prove their fans that they’re the best fighter.

Last June 9, 2012, the WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley made the results very controversial. Many believed that Manny Pacquiao should have won the fight which is very clear. Manny Pacquiao throws a lot of punches and power punches compared to Bradley. The controversial results caused anger to Pacman’s camp which led to an investigation, while the World Boxing Organization also conducted a split investigation. Based on the investigation results, Manny Pacquiao was declared as the winner of the match, but Timothy Bradley was allowed to retain his title.

The Pinoy Boxer told in an interview that they have discovered new strategies and techniques that can knockout Timothy Bradley. Manny Pacquiao is never been motivated in this upcoming rematch because of the two consecutive loss.

While, Timothy Bradley is also prepared for this rematch and said in an interview that he also has a new game plan to stop Pacman and remove any doubts to the fans. Timothy Bradley is a different fighter unlike the first match with Pacquiao, he is now stronger, more aggressive fighter and he is rooting for a knockout win against Manny Pacquiao.

50 Days Left - Slim Chance for Bradley to win against Pacman

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - With a few days remaining before the rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley, a lot of speculations are beginning to come-out. This because of the controversial results during their first fight which resulted into a split decision in favor for Timothy Bradley.

According to what boxing experts and coach, fans and viewers, Bradley has no chance of defeating the Filipino pride Manny Pacquiao. Because I am not impressed with Bradley’s recent matches against Juan Manuel Marquez and Provodnikov and with his slow performance I think it is not enough to dominate over Pacman.

But because of this criticism he received during his fights against Manny Pacquiao, Juan Manuel Marquez and Provodnikov fuels him to be stronger, and determine enough to retain his WBO welterweight belt.

But even if Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is coming out as a champion, this rematch will determine a lot to in regards to his career. Manny Pacquiao got knockout by Juan Manuel Marquez during their 4th fight but he manage to defeat Brandon Rios last 2013 in Macau via unanimous decision and retain his form. But this doesn’t made him a winner because after his two consecutive defeats he manage to find an opponent that only had a little chance of defeating him. If Manny Pacquiao really wants to prove everyone that he is the no.1 pound for pound boxer then he needs to get the job done against Timothy Bradley.

51 Days Left - Pacquiao vs Bradley Breakdown

The rematch between Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2) and Timothy Bradley (31-0-0) is now set on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. Manny Pacquiao was defeated in a split decision against Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight championship. So I’m going to point out the facts about the fight, Manny Pacquiao throws a lot of punches in every round and Timothy Bradley stay on defense all the way with some counter-punches only but a lot boxing experts, fans, viewers watched and it was clear cut winner in favor for Pacquiao.

To start, Timothy Bradley received a gift while Manny Pacquiao was robbed in my opinion. But who knows, that the rematch won’t turn out differently? Timothy Bradley has already improved his boxing skills and maybe could pull off an upset against Manny Pacquiao this time. We all know that Manny Pacquiao has the speed advantage and Bradley barely hiding himself with some counter-punches but that is not the case when he is fighting against Juan Manuel Marquez, Bradley landed more punches and out-boxed Marquez but had fewer power punches connected.

For Bradley vs Provodnikov fight, it is a clear win for Bradley. I saw Bradley throwing more punches and more power punches which left Provodnikov swelled and bruised his face.

And for Mannny Pacquiao, he was brutally knockout by Juan Manuel Marquez during their last fight in June 2012. We saw Pacquiao comfortably throwing more punches but Marquez was not careless enough and throw a winning knockout punch in the last second during the 6th round of the fight.

And his fight against Brandon Rios, we saw a different Manny Pacquiao, he is more careful this time and more aggressive which give him a unanimous decision win.

52 Days Left - Timothy Bradley looking for a knockout against Pacquiao

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - A rematch between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley are now set on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, and Timothy Bradley’s coach Joel Diaz said that they’re going for a knockout win.

Joel Diaz believes that Timothy Bradley might have a hard time winning the judge’s decision against Manny Pacquiao considering Pacquiao is the favorite between the two. And if the rematch ends in a decision, there is a possible chance that Manny Pacquiao will be crowned as a champion considering that boxing is now a business and is because “there’s more money to be made in Manny Pacquiao”.

So, to prove who the better fighter is, then a knockout is a must for Timothy Bradley.  Joel Diaz is confident that Manny Pacquiao will have a hard time fighting against Timothy Bradley considering Bradley’s training even if the welterweight champion (Timothy Bradley) suffered an injury on his feet after the fight against Manny Pacquiao.

The trainer believes that a knockdown or a knockout is a must for both fighters to please everyone especially the judges.

During their last match, Bradley didn’t feel any knockout punch and maybe Manny Pacquiao already lost his motivation and his killer instinct is gone.

Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley’s last match ended in a controversial decision. Manny Pacquiao is aggressive and landed more punches comparing to Timothy Bradley but the judges awarded Bradley as a winner.

53 Days Left - Manny Pacquiao signed a two-year $75 million contract with Top Rank

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - The 8th time world boxing champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao of the Philippines has reportedly signed a two year $75 million contract extension with Top Rank promotions according to reports.

Manny Pacquiao’s contract with Top Rank promotions will expire at the end of this year 2014 and reportedly agreed to spend the remaining years of his boxing career under the Bob Arum’s Top Rank Promotions.

If that deal has been finalized, then if would go a long way towards helping Manny Pacquiao’s tax problems because the Philippine government froze all his accounts. And if Pacquiao does re-sign with Top Rank then there’s a possible chance of fighting boxer like Floyd Mayweather, Danny Garcia, Saul Alvarez, Amir Khan, Adrien Broner, and Lucas Matthysse. Garcia, Broner, Canelo and Matthysee might have a chance of fighting Pacquiao if their promoters at Golden Boy Promotions could work with the Top Rank Promotions and if Mayweather’s promoter will work on Top Rank Promotions.

For me, boxing fans have no problems watching Pacquiao fighting boxers like Provodnikov, Rios, Alvarado or Bradley but if they continue fighting them repeatedly without any reasons then fans will get bored. It would be great if Bob Arum could add more fighters so that Pacquiao does not stuck with the same old guys because there is no point fighting guys with same result or dull performances.

54 Days Left - Provodnikov: Pacquiao Should be Aggressive against Bradley

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - The former WBO welterweight and WBO light welterweight champion Ruslan ”Siberian Rocky” Provodnikov (23-2-0) from Russia worried  about Manny Pacquiao’s performance on the ring, the stated that Pacquiao should be aggressive enough to avenge his loss to Bradley last June 2012.

Ruslan Provodnikov knows both fighters, Provodnikov was a sparring partner for Pacquiao before his fight against Bradley and Provodnikov is close to winning against Bradley during their fight last March 2013, he even knocked down Bradley during the last round but loss via unanimous decision in favor for Bradley.

At one point, Ruslan Provodnikov even considered Pacquiao as his next challenger but Pacquiao settled for a rematch against Timothy Bradley.

Even though Manny Pacquiao emerged to dominate the whole 12 rounds during their last fight, Pacquiao did not go for a knockout that resulted into a questionable split decision. Provodnikov said “I think if Pacquiao will not be aggressive, then he will see exact thing that we saw in their first fight”.

Manny Pacquiao already promised to do all the best he can and will try to knock out Bradley to avoid any questionable decisions.

Provodnikov said that “Pacquiao has a slight advantage to win. On the other hand, if the fight remains close then Bradley has a good chance to win”.

55 Days Left - Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - Who is the underdog?

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 – Timothy Bradley (31-0-0) was surprised that he is the underdog against Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2) in their upcoming fight at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on April 12, 2014. The fact that Timothy Bradley won the fight against Manny Pacquiao last June 2012 and Pacquiao just got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1) and Timothy Bradley beat Marquez is hilarious to Bradley’s camp.

Everyone especially Bradley’s camp thinks it is hilarious how the people select Manny Pacquiao to win the fight considering how he beat Pacquiao and Marquez.

Timothy Bradley will try to end the speculations and prove to everyone that he is better than Pacquiao. Either way, it is Pacquiao or Bradley likely going to win convincingly enough to please the viewers worldwide.

For years, it is known that human’s get weaker starting in their 30’s and considering Pacquiao’s Age at 35 years old while Timothy Bradley 30 years old, it might not be easy for Pacquiao. However, Pacquiao’s speed is always the advantage for him while Bradley’s young age and determination is his key to win the fight.

For Pacquiao, he should learn a big lesson by realizing that he can’t afford a wreckless fight because of his knockout loss to Marquez. Pacquiao must be aggressive enough to impress the judges and win the fight. For Bradley, defense is the key and a counter attack enough to hurt Pacquiao.

56 Days Left - Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 Tickets 70% Sold

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2- Top Rank promoter Bob Arum was pleased to say earlier last week for the Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley rematch happening on the 12th of April, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA that 70% of the tickets have been sold day after the tickets goes on sale. Promoter Bob Arum believes that the remaining tickets will be sold within this month or before the month ends.

If Manny Pacquiao wins the fight and brings a good pay-per-view result then I’m guessing that the Pacquiao vs Bradley 3 will be possible. For me, Manny Pacquiao should step up his fight for him to impress the judges and the viewers for the possible 3rd match.

As a boxing enthusiast, I agree with Bob Arum that the tickets will be sold out in just a day because there’s a lot of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley fans in the United States especially in California and from the Philippines. Timothy Bradley is a good match for Pacquiao since Bradley is undefeated fighter with a record of 31-0-0 and 12 wins by knockout.

Timothy Bradley last two matches is a very controversial, Bradley still is not seen as having legitimately beat Manny Pacquiao for us fans and viewers and he’s close call win over Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2-0) was questionable. But for me Bradley is a strong and intelligent fighter which makes him undefeated.

Whatever the result is, I’m thinking of the next opponent of both fighters. Bob Arum said that Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1) or maybe the biggest surprise is fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0-0) which until now hasn’t faced Manny Pacquiao or Timothy Bradley.

57 Days Left - Additional Drug Testing for Pacquiao vs Bradley

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 – The Nevada State Athletic Commission will handle the advance drug testing for Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley fight happening on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand Arena, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Instead of the usual drug testing by VADA (Voluntary Anti-Doping Association) or USADA (United States Anti Doping Agency), Manny Pacquiao (55-5-2) and Timothy Bradley (31-0-0) will undergo additional drug testing by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

The last fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley had no random drug testing before the bout but Pacquiao’s first time dealing with the additional drug testing was during his last fight against Brandon Rios (31-2-1), and after Brandon Rios failed his post-fight drug test he was suspended for five months by the China Professional Boxing Organization. On the other hand, Timothy Bradley is very vocal and didn’t resist about the additional drug testing.

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 on April 12, 2014

Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 - 2 years after an awkward 12-round split decision in favor to Timothy Bradley, Manny Pacquiao takes on Timothy Bradley in a rematch for the WBO welterweight title happening on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. Everyone knows that Pacquiao should have won the fight and was not even a close fight, but the decision is final and unappealable.

Manny “Pacman”Pacquiao’s (55-5-2) recent fight is a unanimous victory decision against Brandon Rios (31-1-1) for the vacant WBO International welterweight title held in Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort, Macao S.A.R, China, it is the only loss against Brandon Rios. It was an easy fight for Pacquiao because Rios fell during the early round because of Manny’s strong jabs and straight right to the body. Pacquiao dominated the entire bout and not giving any chances for Rios, it was Pacquiao’s strong athleticism and confidence that make him the champion.

Juan Manuel Marquez defeated Manny Pacquiao by knockout with only one seconds left during the sixth round. Manny Pacquiao outboxed Juan Manuel Marquez during the entire bout but a lucky punch turned the fight in favor for Marquez. And it was considered the Fight of the Year and a Knockout of the Year by Ring Magazine.

Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley (31-0-0) is an undefeated fighter for California, USA. Timothy Bradley is a two-division world champion (WBO welterweight and 2-time WBC junior welterweight) and still undefeated with 12 KO wins. Bradley stance: Orthodox, height: 5ft 6in and a Reach: 69in. He’s last bout is against Juan Manuel Marquez which turned into a split decision in favor for Bradley.
