Timothy Bradley not wearing socks might be the problem during the fight

During the last time Timothy Bradley faced Manny Pacquiao was on June 2012 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Timothy Bradley chooses not to wear any socks with his shoes during the fight. This resulted to injuring Bradley’s feet because his foot is moving around his shoe from the sweat. Bradley didn’t opt to use his socks on the fight because he didn’t even bother using socks during his training, but he didn’t expect that the surface at MGM Grand is much harder compared to his training gym.

Timothy Bradley’s foot work didn’t work well because his feet were moving around inside his shoes. Timothy Bradley’s balance was compromised because he didn’t have the support he needed because of not wearing socks.

Timothy Bradley believes that he would have beaten Manny Pacquiao a lot easier if he does wear socks that time.

For me, I believe in Timothy Bradley’s reasons because he is not used to it and he is not comfortable with it. I am a little bit disappointed that his camp didn’t even bother to check the arena first before they’re going to fight. So If I were in Bradley’s camp I would check the arena ahead of time to determine whether socks are needed or not.

Pacquiao vs Bradley Interview Analysis

As I was watching the interview of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley with Max Kellerman, I can see in Bradley’s eyes that he is very serious in this rematch happening on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. In Manny Pacquiao’s side feels like very humble but very awkward to express his emotions. I really don’t like Manny Pacquiao’s answers, he is not as confident as before.

Timothy Bradley said that the only way to defeat him is to knock him down and that there’s no other way. He said that Manny Pacquiao “Hunger Days” or the aggressiveness is no longer there, and he can’t get it back and it’s gone. That Manny’s killer instinct is gone, he’s different fighter than before. Nobody blame Pacquiao for what he is now, but c’mon it’s boxing and it is a sport where you have to out boxed your enemy or you’ll be knock out.

In Manny Pacquiao’s eye seems boxing is for him a business. I didn’t find the confidence with his answers; he’s will to win the fight and his determination to bring pride to Filipino people. I believe Manny Pacquiao is very much dedicated with he’s religious beliefs that makes him soft spoken and a good looking man.

30 Days Left - Timothy Bradley’s Greatest Performances

HBO boxing presents “Timothy Bradley’s Greatest Hits”.

We never heard of Timothy Bradley until his breakout against Manny Pacquiao. Here are the highlights of his past performances and his winning streak.

On July 17, 2010 Timothy Bradley defeated the Argentinean fighter Luis Carlos Abregu in a 12 round unanimous decision win at the Agua Caliente Casino, Rancho Mirage, California.

On January 29, 2011, the two undefeated light welterweight fighter (Bradley vs Alexander) faced each other in an epic battle which ended in a 10th round technical decision win in favor for Timothy Bradley.

The Cuban fighter Joel Casamayor challenged Timothy Bradley on November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada for the WBO junior weltweight title but he failed to get the win. Joel Casamayor is an Olympic Gold medalist in 1992 Barcelona Spain in a bantamweight division. But Casamayor was defeated by Bradley via 8th round Technical Knockout win.

The fight which make Timothy Bradley famous is fighting the Filipino 8th time world champion Manny Pacquiao. It happened last June 9, 2012 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada for the WBO welterweight title. Timothy Bradley took the belt in a split decision win over Manny Pacquiao.

31 Days Left – Manny Pacquiao’s Greatest Performances

HBO boxing presents “Manny Pacquiao’s Greatest Hits”.

The 8th time world champion Manny Pacquiao’s career has been packed with great wins, big fights and amazing boxing performances with some of the greatest fighters of all time. Here’s the recap of his performances during the 13 years of boxing.

On June 23, 2001 Manny Pacquiao faced Lehlohonolo Ledwaba of South Africa at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas Nevada for the IBF Super Bantamweight championship for the first time in United States. Manny Pacquiao has won via Technical Knockout on the Dela Hoya vs Castillejo undercard.

On November 15, 2003 Manny Pacquiao defeated the Mexican boxer Marco Antonio Barrera via Technical Knockout at the Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas for the Ring Featherweight title. Marco Antonio Barrera is at his peak of his career during that time and he was one of the top fighters during that era, but Manny Pacquiao shows no mercy with that win.

During May 8, 2004 was the first time Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez meet which ended up in a draw and ended up with a lot of controversies because Marquez was knockdown 3 times during the 12th round of fight.

On January 21, 2006 Manny Pacquiao crushed Erick Morales on a 10th round Technical Knockout win for the WBC Super Featherweight title at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. Fresh from his defeat during the first time they’ve meet, Manny Pacquiao took the chance to prove to everyone that he is not a lousy fighter and become the first boxer to stop the Mexican fighter.

The second time Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez meet was on March 15, 2008 that also ended into a controversial result. Manny Pacquiao seemingly lose to Juan Manuel Marquez but Pacquiao ended as a champion for the WBC Super Featherweight title at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Dream Match between Oscar Dela Hoya and Manny Pacquiao took place at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6, 2008. Dela Hoya’s advantage on his height and reach is far from Manny Pacquiao but it doesn’t stop Manny from defeating the superstar. Dela Hoya stood no chance against Manny Pacquiao’s speed and power which ended in 8th round.

The easiest fight for Manny Pacquiao is against Ricky Hatton which ended into a 2nd round Technical Knockout win on May 2, 2009 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada for the IBO Light Welterweight title.

Only a few minutes left before the 12th round ended but the referee has to stop the fight because Miguel Cotto is badly hurt by Manny Pacquiao’s punches. It happened last November 14, 2009 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada which Manny Pacquiao took the WBC Diamond Welterweight title.

A unanimous win by Manny Pacquiao against the giant opponent Antonio Margarito last November 13, 2010 at Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas for the vacant WBC Light Middleweight title.

The 3rd match between Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez happened last November 12, 2011 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada for the WBO welterweight title. Manny Pacquiao on via majority decision and also ended with some controversies.

The first lost to Timothy Bradley happened on June 9, 2012 for Manny Pacquiao. Manny Pacquiao dominated the entire battle but Bradley come out in a split decision win over Pacquiao.

32 Days Left – Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 with Max Kellerman

Max Kellerman believes that the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is now softening and that the killer instinct was gone. Timothy Bradley also said that the “Eye of the Tiger” of Manny Pacquiao was nowhere to found.

During that interview, as a boxing blogger I also believe that Manny Pacquiao is not serious in this fight. He only wants to prove to everyone that he can give a good “SHOW” to the viewers. Honestly I am not in favor with his answer, we fans needs to see a boxing not a comedy show or whatsoever. Manny Pacquiao’s hunger days are gone; he isn’t as hungry fighter as before. I know Manny Pacquiao is a God Fearing person but it is boxing, it is a sport so don’t show any sign of weakness in this kind of sports.

For Timothy Bradley’s side, he is focused and determined to prove to everyone that he’s the best fighter out there. I honestly believe that Timothy Bradley will come out victorious this time without any controversy. Bradley’s eyes looked so eager, his will to fight and win was seen in his eyes.

I am not Bradley’s fans but we’ll never know who will come out victorious.

Here’s the interview of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley with Max Kellerman

33 Days Left – Timothy Bradley’s 2013 boxing journey

The year 2013 was a year for Timothy Bradley. During that year, he was fighting the guy named Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2-0) and won via unanimous decision for the WBO welterweight title at Home Depot Center, Carson, California. You might not hear of him until he was defeated by Bradley and their fight was voted as a Fight of the year by the boxing writers of America.

Also during year 2013, Timothy Bradley faced the boxer that created a knockout win over the no.1 Pound for Pound king Manny Pacquiao and the future hall of famer Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1). Timothy Bradley won via split decision for the WBO welterweight title at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

With these 2 fights, Timothy Bradley was able to show to everyone that he is a flexible boxer. He was able to outbox these two fighters which mean he could be one of the feared fighters this time. With these wins, Bradley believes that he is one of the best pound for pound boxer in the world if not the best.

Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao will face off with Max Kellerman on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:45pm on HBO.

34 Days Left – Timothy Bradley’s determination will make him victorious

Everyone one thinks that Timothy Bradley is the underdog of their rematch against Manny Pacquiao but they’re wrong. As a boxing fans and a boxing blogger I know that Timothy Bradley will prove to everyone that he never give up and he will come out victorious. We all know for a fact that Bradley won the first fight against Manny Pacquiao but that was a controversial result knowing that Manny landed more punches against Bradley. But when I was watching the reply, there’s no doubt that Bradley almost dominated every single rounds even if Pacquiao tend to be more aggressive than Bradley.

Knowing Manny Pacquiao’s speed is his only advantage against the strength, power and determination of Timothy Bradley. The reigning WBO welterweight champion is still has the advantage because of his youth, his defensive ability and his killer instinct.

One thing that I learned from their first fight is that Manny Pacquiao is getting slower and weaker while Timothy Bradley is getting stronger and more effective fighter than Manny Pacquiao. I am no fans against Timothy Bradley but I respected him as a boxer because of his skills.

Although Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest boxer I ever know, it doesn’t mean that he will easily demolished Timothy Bradley.

Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley rematch is on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and will be aired by HBO pay-per-view.

35 Days Left– Timothy Bradley goes Vegetarian

There is 3 weeks more remaining for the match anticipated fight, the Pacquiao vs Bradley for the WBO welterweight champion at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

Timothy Bradley level up his training not only on his strength but also his nutrition, the foods and juices/water he intake. Bradley said that he does not need any special juices or food to make him strong but said he is now a vegetarian. It is hard not eating meat when you get used to it said Bradley.

Eating the right foods and maintaining his condition is the first priority of Bradley. He really wanted to be in shape every day to have energy during the day. Being healthy can make you feel 100% safe to injuries and any future health problems.

Timothy Bradley’s trainer Jose Diaz said in an interview that Manny Pacquiao chance to win against Bradley is only to knock him out and if Pacquiao cannot make it then he will surely lose the fight. Manny Pacquiao looked so dominating during the first time they meet but failed to win the judges, so this time Manny Pacquiao should double his efforts to secure a win.

Timothy Bradley will try to hold the WBO welterweight title which he took from Manny Pacquiao.

36 Days Left– Pacquiao wanted to win all 12 rounds if knockout doesn’t worked

Manny Pacquiao is expected to be aggressive this time saying he wanted to set goal to win all 12-rounds against Timothy Bradley on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States for the WBO welterweight championship.

The Filipino boxer says in an interview that during their first fight, he dominated mostly of the rounds maybe 10 out of 12 rounds but it wasn’t enough for the judges, so this time he needs to stepped up and need to control all rounds.

That decision is necessary if Plan A doesn’t work which is to knockout Bradley as much as possible. But Manny Pacquiao will have a hard time defeating Bradley especially knocking him out because of Bradley’s extraordinary strength and his unusual boxing defense.

Manny Pacquiao’s performances are getting weaker and he becomes lazy fighter which is obviously seen when he loses to Timothy Bradley and Juan Manuel Marquez. For me, Pacquiao is not as confident unlike before because he really wanted to cover up his pretty face and avoid any damage to it. Boxing not unlikely a sport nowadays, it is much as considered as business.

The fight is getting nearer and more exciting to the fans especially for me. Can’t wait to see it.

37 Days Left– Miguel Cotto choose Manny Pacquiao over Timothy Bradley

The former light middleweight, welterweight, light welterweight and middleweight champion Miguel “Junito” Cotto (38-4-0) from Puerto Rico is picking Manny Pacquiao over Timothy Bradley in their upcoming match on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States for the WBO welterweight belt.

Miguel Cotto is the former opponent of Manny Pacquiao last November 14, 2011 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA who lose via Technical Knockout for the WBO welterweight title. Cotto believes that that the Filipino Congressman can defeat Bradley this time. Miguel Cotto is under the supervision of his trainer/coach Freddie Roach.

Miguel Cotto told in an interview that even if they have the same coach they still have different boxing gym and they didn’t spar yet. Miguel Cotto denies sparring Pacquiao even if both of them have incoming fights because of different training schedules.

Miguel Cotto’s last opponent was against Delvin Rodriguez which was easily dominated by Cotto and won via Technical Knockout for the WBO light middleweight title.

Meanwhile Miguel Cotto next opponent is against Sergio Gabriel Martinez (51-2-2) on June 7, 2014 at Madison Square Garden, New York, New York, United States for the WBC middleweight title.

38 Days Left– Timothy Bradley is 100% ready to Win the Fight

Nobody wanted to lose the fight especially the Dessert Storm Timothy Bradley. The American boxer is very confident that he will win the rematch happening on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

The current WBO champion Timothy Bradley said the he assures everyone that there is no controversy this time and it will be a clean fight compared to their first match up.

Timothy Bradley already know how to attack and counter attack Manny Pacquiao since the American boxer already been in the ring with him. Bradley already knows what to do, and what to expect in their upcoming rematch. Bradley knows Pacquiao’s capability and intelligence as a boxer, so Bradley can maximize and use it.

Timothy Bradley was not impressed during the latest Manny Pacquiao’s win against Brandon Rios. Pacquiao is getting weaker and slower compared to their fight. Manny Pacquiao’s footwork is not as impressive also and his boxing IQ is lesser now compared before.

The pressure is on Bradley’s side since people are in favor in Manny Pacquiao. Bradley should stepped-up and make sure that he will knockout Pacquiao to avoid in further issues.

Manny Pacquiao should make sure that he is 100% ready for this fight, because Timothy Bradley is gonna beat him in any possible ways.

39 Days Left – Jessica Sanchez to sing Philippine National Anthem on Pacquiao-Bradley 2

The American Idol runner-up from Chula Vista, California Jessica Sanchez is set to sing the Philippine National Anthem before the fight of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on April 12, 2014 for the WBO welterweight championship.

Jessica Sanchez already sang the United States National Anthem during the Bradley vs. Pacquiao in 2012 and also sang the Philippine National Anthem and the United States National Anthem during the Pacquiao vs Rios in Macau, China last year 2013.

Meanwhile, Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas will sing the National Anthem for the Pacquiao vs Bradley rematch.

40 Days Left – Pacquiao must use his jab frequently against Bradley

The hall of fame boxing coach Freddie Roach is telling Manny Pacquiao to land more punch during their rematch.

Manny Pacquiao should use his jab always which he has recently ignored in every fight to find an opening for a possible left straight or a right hook.

Freddie Roach said that jab can creates more opening which can set up Pacquiao to unleash his solid punches, and his most powerful left straight.

Manny Pacquiao’s jab can knock out any opponent if use it wisely and more efficiently.

Pacman’s jab is fast, strong and quick which can make him gain more score and led in scoring and a possible knockout.

Pacquiao’s new conditioning coach Justin Fortune renews his contract for this fight. Coach Justin Fortune is responsible for the win of Manny Pacquiao versus Brandon Rios. The coach told that Bradley shape is excellent every time he fights that is why he wants to make sure that Pacquiao is more superb in their rematch.

Manny Pacquiao already know how to defeat Bradley this time because he already faced Bradley and it’s the job of his coach to get him in shape.

Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley rematch will happen on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and will be aired by HBO Pay-per-view.

41 Days Left – Unimpressed win By Pacquiao against Brandon Rios

Timothy Bradley’s camp especially his trainer didn’t like the performance Manny Pacquiao is showing during his last bout against Brandon Rios and he’s last 4-5 fights. As a former pound-for pound king Manny Pacquiao is getting slower than he was before when he competed against the champions like Antonio Margarito, Miguel Cotto, and Oscar De la Hoya.

Unlike Manny Pacquiao’s other performances like how he crushed the face of Antonio Margarito, how he broke the face of Miguel Cotto and how he knockout Oscar Dela Hoya is now a different Manny Pacquiao. Pacman seems to be unimpressive during his last 4-5 fights especially the fight against Juan Manuel Marquez where he was knockout during the last second of the 6th round. Brandon Rios was not even hurt and didn’t gain any damage.

Remember that Timothy Bradley won the fight against Juan Manuel Marquez while Marquez knockouts Manny Pacquiao, so to foresee the result is quite clear which is in favor for Bradley. And it is amazing how he fought Ruslan Provodnikov with his power via unanimous decision.

Odds are in favor for Manny Pacquiao, but Bradley’s camp is going to beat the odds.

42 Days Left – Pacquiao vs Bradley betting the odds

The much awaited fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley is coming close as it is a month away before the clash. While Bradley won the first fight this doesn’t make him famous and gain the advantage because if you’re going to bet for Pacquiao you need $200 to win $100, and if you’re betting for Bradley you will need $100 only to win a $175.

The odds are in favor for Manny Pacquiao which makes a little pressure for him. Manny Pacquiao knows that it is a do or die situation for him because if he loses then it will be the end of his career considering he lose during their first fight.

While Pacquiao is busy preparing at Wild Card Gym in United States, Bradley is also on his 4 weeks of training against Manny Pacquiao. Nobody wants to make it easy as both fighters are coming of strong during their individual training. Pacquiao proved that he is serious because during their training he makes his sparring partner nose bleeds, while Bradley is coming of strong and more comfortable with his condition unlike his other fights.

The rematch will be viewed by HBO Pay-per-view on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. Tickets are now available online via ticketmaster.com.

43 Days Left – Timothy Bradley 8 weeks of Training for Pacquiao

The new WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is ahead of training for his upcoming rematch against Manny Pacquiao on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas Nevada, United States. Timothy Bradley in an interview said that he is doing well so far during his training.

Timothy Bradley will likely to spend around 8 weeks of training which 4 weeks late during their first match is expected to be dominant this time. The WBO welterweight champion realized that he was reaching its peak early than expected, so he decided to trim his training.

Timothy Bradley doesn’t have any weight problems and said that it is the least concern for them. Bradley’s current weight at 160lbs is expected to lose 15 pounds more in the couple of weeks.

As I watched how Bradley trained, it is very difficult to tell that Manny Pacquiao can easily win the fight. It will be a bloody fight considering how strong the “Dessert Storm” is during his training.  To tell you honestly, Manny Pacquiao will have a hard time defeating Bradley this time, I’m a boxing fan and have been blogging for almost 5 years now that is why I know it’s difficult for Pacquiao’s camp.

44 Days Left - Manny Pacquiao training at Wild Card Gym

The Filipino Pride Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao, Coach Freddie Roach and Team Pacman headed their way to Los Angeles last March 10, 2014 from General Santos, Philippines.

Today, Manny Pacquiao started his phase 2 training at Wild Card Gym for its upcoming fight against Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight championship on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.

The first meeting between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley didn’t look good as the result came controversial. Pacman leading every round against the “Dessert Storm” and looks to end the fight early when Bradley was close to get knocked down during the early rounds. But Bradley stays the 12 round match and beat Pacquiao in a split decision and steals Pacquiao WBO welterweight champion belt.

As I was watching the replays, I found out the Bradley is tough and strong fighter. Bradley didn’t let any rounds go in favor against Manny Pacquiao, he fights back, throw strong punches, and landed more solid body punches against Pacquiao. And Pacquiao is so aggressive and dominant just like before during the early rounds but slowed down during late rounds. Manny Pacquiao landed many solid straight and hook punches while avoiding Bradley’s counter attack.

This rematch is going to be explosive as Timothy Bradley will prove to everyone that he is truly the winner and stronger fighter than Pacquiao. And Manny Pacquiao will try redeeming his former WBO welterweight belt and also proving to his fans that, Manny Pacquiao is unstoppable and that he is still the no.1 Pound for Pound champion.
