Timothy Bradley not wearing socks might be the problem during the fight

During the last time Timothy Bradley faced Manny Pacquiao was on June 2012 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Timothy Bradley chooses not to wear any socks with his shoes during the fight. This resulted to injuring Bradley’s feet because his foot is moving around his shoe from the sweat. Bradley didn’t opt to use his socks on the fight because he didn’t even bother using socks during his training, but he didn’t expect that the surface at MGM Grand is much harder compared to his training gym.

Timothy Bradley’s foot work didn’t work well because his feet were moving around inside his shoes. Timothy Bradley’s balance was compromised because he didn’t have the support he needed because of not wearing socks.

Timothy Bradley believes that he would have beaten Manny Pacquiao a lot easier if he does wear socks that time.

For me, I believe in Timothy Bradley’s reasons because he is not used to it and he is not comfortable with it. I am a little bit disappointed that his camp didn’t even bother to check the arena first before they’re going to fight. So If I were in Bradley’s camp I would check the arena ahead of time to determine whether socks are needed or not.

Pacquiao vs Bradley Interview Analysis

As I was watching the interview of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley with Max Kellerman, I can see in Bradley’s eyes that he is very serious in this rematch happening on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States. In Manny Pacquiao’s side feels like very humble but very awkward to express his emotions. I really don’t like Manny Pacquiao’s answers, he is not as confident as before.

Timothy Bradley said that the only way to defeat him is to knock him down and that there’s no other way. He said that Manny Pacquiao “Hunger Days” or the aggressiveness is no longer there, and he can’t get it back and it’s gone. That Manny’s killer instinct is gone, he’s different fighter than before. Nobody blame Pacquiao for what he is now, but c’mon it’s boxing and it is a sport where you have to out boxed your enemy or you’ll be knock out.

In Manny Pacquiao’s eye seems boxing is for him a business. I didn’t find the confidence with his answers; he’s will to win the fight and his determination to bring pride to Filipino people. I believe Manny Pacquiao is very much dedicated with he’s religious beliefs that makes him soft spoken and a good looking man.

31 Days Left – Manny Pacquiao’s Greatest Performances

HBO boxing presents “Manny Pacquiao’s Greatest Hits”.

The 8th time world champion Manny Pacquiao’s career has been packed with great wins, big fights and amazing boxing performances with some of the greatest fighters of all time. Here’s the recap of his performances during the 13 years of boxing.

On June 23, 2001 Manny Pacquiao faced Lehlohonolo Ledwaba of South Africa at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas Nevada for the IBF Super Bantamweight championship for the first time in United States. Manny Pacquiao has won via Technical Knockout on the Dela Hoya vs Castillejo undercard.

On November 15, 2003 Manny Pacquiao defeated the Mexican boxer Marco Antonio Barrera via Technical Knockout at the Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas for the Ring Featherweight title. Marco Antonio Barrera is at his peak of his career during that time and he was one of the top fighters during that era, but Manny Pacquiao shows no mercy with that win.

During May 8, 2004 was the first time Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez meet which ended up in a draw and ended up with a lot of controversies because Marquez was knockdown 3 times during the 12th round of fight.

On January 21, 2006 Manny Pacquiao crushed Erick Morales on a 10th round Technical Knockout win for the WBC Super Featherweight title at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada. Fresh from his defeat during the first time they’ve meet, Manny Pacquiao took the chance to prove to everyone that he is not a lousy fighter and become the first boxer to stop the Mexican fighter.

The second time Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez meet was on March 15, 2008 that also ended into a controversial result. Manny Pacquiao seemingly lose to Juan Manuel Marquez but Pacquiao ended as a champion for the WBC Super Featherweight title at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Dream Match between Oscar Dela Hoya and Manny Pacquiao took place at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6, 2008. Dela Hoya’s advantage on his height and reach is far from Manny Pacquiao but it doesn’t stop Manny from defeating the superstar. Dela Hoya stood no chance against Manny Pacquiao’s speed and power which ended in 8th round.

The easiest fight for Manny Pacquiao is against Ricky Hatton which ended into a 2nd round Technical Knockout win on May 2, 2009 at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada for the IBO Light Welterweight title.

Only a few minutes left before the 12th round ended but the referee has to stop the fight because Miguel Cotto is badly hurt by Manny Pacquiao’s punches. It happened last November 14, 2009 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada which Manny Pacquiao took the WBC Diamond Welterweight title.

A unanimous win by Manny Pacquiao against the giant opponent Antonio Margarito last November 13, 2010 at Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas for the vacant WBC Light Middleweight title.

32 Days Left – Pacquiao vs Bradley 2 with Max Kellerman

Max Kellerman believes that the Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao is now softening and that the killer instinct was gone. Timothy Bradley also said that the “Eye of the Tiger” of Manny Pacquiao was nowhere to found.

During that interview, as a boxing blogger I also believe that Manny Pacquiao is not serious in this fight. He only wants to prove to everyone that he can give a good “SHOW” to the viewers. Honestly I am not in favor with his answer, we fans needs to see a boxing not a comedy show or whatsoever. Manny Pacquiao’s hunger days are gone; he isn’t as hungry fighter as before. I know Manny Pacquiao is a God Fearing person but it is boxing, it is a sport so don’t show any sign of weakness in this kind of sports.

For Timothy Bradley’s side, he is focused and determined to prove to everyone that he’s the best fighter out there. I honestly believe that Timothy Bradley will come out victorious this time without any controversy. Bradley’s eyes looked so eager, his will to fight and win was seen in his eyes.

I am not Bradley’s fans but we’ll never know who will come out victorious.

Here’s the interview of Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley with Max Kellerman

33 Days Left – Timothy Bradley’s 2013 boxing journey

The year 2013 was a year for Timothy Bradley. During that year, he was fighting the guy named Ruslan Provodnikov (23-2-0) and won via unanimous decision for the WBO welterweight title at Home Depot Center, Carson, California. You might not hear of him until he was defeated by Bradley and their fight was voted as a Fight of the year by the boxing writers of America.

Also during year 2013, Timothy Bradley faced the boxer that created a knockout win over the no.1 Pound for Pound king Manny Pacquiao and the future hall of famer Juan Manuel Marquez (55-7-1). Timothy Bradley won via split decision for the WBO welterweight title at Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.

With these 2 fights, Timothy Bradley was able to show to everyone that he is a flexible boxer. He was able to outbox these two fighters which mean he could be one of the feared fighters this time. With these wins, Bradley believes that he is one of the best pound for pound boxer in the world if not the best.

34 Days Left – Timothy Bradley’s determination will make him victorious

Everyone one thinks that Timothy Bradley is the underdog of their rematch against Manny Pacquiao but they’re wrong. As a boxing fans and a boxing blogger I know that Timothy Bradley will prove to everyone that he never give up and he will come out victorious. We all know for a fact that Bradley won the first fight against Manny Pacquiao but that was a controversial result knowing that Manny landed more punches against Bradley. But when I was watching the reply, there’s no doubt that Bradley almost dominated every single rounds even if Pacquiao tend to be more aggressive than Bradley.

Knowing Manny Pacquiao’s speed is his only advantage against the strength, power and determination of Timothy Bradley. The reigning WBO welterweight champion is still has the advantage because of his youth, his defensive ability and his killer instinct.

One thing that I learned from their first fight is that Manny Pacquiao is getting slower and weaker while Timothy Bradley is getting stronger and more effective fighter than Manny Pacquiao. I am no fans against Timothy Bradley but I respected him as a boxer because of his skills.

Although Manny Pacquiao is one of the greatest boxer I ever know, it doesn’t mean that he will easily demolished Timothy Bradley.

Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley rematch is on April 12, 2014 at MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States and will be aired by HBO pay-per-view.
